With over 20 years of experience as a school counselor, and over 30 years in practice as a therapist, I bring a unique perspective in helping individuals adjust. I work with the entire family to help promote positive behavior and teach coping skills.
I provide a very warm and supportive atmosphere for teens and adults to explore their feelings in a safe environment. I have a passion for working with individuals diagnosed with cancer. I am a breast cancer survivor and started a non profit to give back to women going through chemotherapy. I understand how difficult it can be navigating treatment.
Being able to express how you feel and getting your needs met are a priority. Being kind, approachable and accepting of others are key. I have raised and successfully launched 3 (now adult) children. As a grateful cancer survivor myself I understand the impact that a serious illness has on all members of the family. It would be an honor to work with you.
