TRUE BLOOD - Group just for Type 1 Diabetics
You don't have to do Diabetes alone! Connecting with and supporting each other is our greatest asset as Type 1 Diabetics. Group counseling is a safe place where we can be free to let our guards down inviting connection, honesty, and growth. As relational beings, by allowing our peers to participate in our healing process, simultaneously participating in theirs, the result is often extremely fulfilling providing an effective way to heal and learn. Men & women over 16 will be considered for group membership during a complimentary in-person 15min consultation. Call for individual or family counseling if under 16.

Journal Therapy: A Group for Creative Teen Girls
Expressing our feelings in writing is an effective way of processing difficult emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, shame and guilt. Sharing the epiphanies and realizations that journaling naturally brings elevates insight and awareness to higher levels. One group member's shared experience often serves as a catalyst for inspiration and deeper thought for the rest of the group. Group therapy provides a safe environment where we can be free to let our guards down, inviting deeper levels of connection and honesty. This intimate setting acts as an incubator for healing and personal growth. Ages 11-15. Complementary 15min consultation.
