I have a gentle, innovative, creative approach to therapy, where my goal is to connect clients to their own sense of resilience and their unique internal healing resources. I believe that each individual has an innate blueprint for health, which can be accessed through trusting the process, slowing down, and deepening the connection to oneself and the present moment.
After earning my doctorate with a focus in Health Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, I went on to serve as a consulting psychologist for the hit NBC show The Biggest Loser. I work extensively with trauma, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, substance abuse and new mother's transitionig into motherhood.
My clinical approach draws from my extensive training in mind/body interventions such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, psychodynamic psychotherapy and mindfulness meditation.
