Do you struggle with feeling nervous or down much of the time? Are you having trouble falling or remaining asleep? These are signs of anxiety and depression, and they are very treatable. However, when left untreated, both can be debilitating and overwhelming. Anxiety and depression can manifest in many ways, affecting the kinds of decisions you make, which in turn affects the quality of your life.

My ideal client is someone ready to confront their mental health challenges and grow from the experience. They may be dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or a variety of emotional and psychological challenges and are seeking effective strategies to manage these issues. They need a compassionate, non-judgmental space where they can explore their feelings and gain practical tools for change. Their goal is to achieve a greater sense of well-being, balance, and self-understanding. They want support to navigate their struggles and reach their full potential in a meaningful and lasting way.

When panic takes over or everything feels like too much, it’s easy to feel broken or beyond repair. But you’re not. Underneath the anxiety and confusion is a part of you still reaching for peace, clarity, and connection. I offer a compassionate space to slow down, listen to what your mind and body are trying to say, and begin the work of healing. You’re not lost—you’re on your way back to yourself.

Most everyone experiences some Problems of Living during the course of his or her life. These can manifest as common psychological symptoms or as difficulties in relationship or work. By attending to the contributions that both past experiences and present circumstances make, I work to liberate effort and energy caught in these problems, making that very energy available for the pursuit of wishes and some measure of joy.

I believe that a compassionate, reflective and direct therapeutic relationship can help you explore and express the parts of yourself necessary to grow and heal. This can be true for particularly trying transitions, emotional health maintenance, or for persistent challenges. I work from a psychodynamic, attachment-focused lens, and utilize a holistic but grounded approach to clarify and address the key memories, limiting beliefs, thoughts and feelings that are at the root cause of distress or discomfort.

It is possible to feel happier, more capable and have a kinder relationship with yourself and others. Neuroscience has revealed we can make positive changes at any age. We all experience loss in our lives from everyday disappointments to the loss of a loved one. Even the most fortunate among us sometimes feel anxious, depressed, isolated and afraid of what’s to come. Most of us have had less than ideal experiences we haven’t been able to process alone. That definitely includes me too. Believe me, you’re not alone. It’s the human condition. There is no happily ever after, but you can have more love, fun and ease in your daily life.

Like so many people, I sometimes fall into thinking that “Things will be better when…,” “If I only had…,” and “I wish I were more like….”. Although it is tempting and easy to do, the end result of thinking this way is consistent disappointment, critical self-talk, feelings of not being “enough,” and hopelessness. The irony is that we create these circumstances unknowingly and become captive to our misplaced hopes and desires. We live this way in secret, pretending that all is well, hoping that no one sees between the gaps.

My ideal clients are high performers who appear successful on the outside but feel internally stuck—whether in a career that lacks meaning or a relationship that feels emotionally draining. They often come to me because that 'zest for life' has been replaced by a quiet, persistent anxiety they can't seem to shut off. I help them bridge the gap between their current reality and the life they’ve envisioned. By combining a deep passion for the profession with scientifically-backed methodologies, I guide clients (ages 18–60) through the process of biologically healing from past traumas so they can reshape their future.

I value helping to foster a secure space and use an integrative approach to help clients feel empowered to reach their personal goals. Intersectionality has been paramount on my own personal healing journey and I have had the opportunity to work with clients who benefit from the same lens. I draw from an integration of approaches to include the internal family systems model, emotionally focused therapy, and psychoanalytic theory in order to work with and honor a wide range of identities and experiences.

Welcome. I work with children, adolescents, and adults coping with relational, attachment, and anxiety disorders. In my practice, therapy often entails exploring the impact of early attachment experiences on our views of self and our ability to form close, meaningful relationships throughout life. In our work together, you will be treated with warmth, empathy, and openness. The most important part of our work is the development of a trusting relationship. This relationship creates a thoughtful, safe space to explore your strengths, challenges, and goals. My approach to clinical work is largely relational and psychodynamic.

You’ve done so much to change. You’ve read the books, reflected, tried to move forward, yet something inside still feels blocked. You know you’re capable of more, and you dream of more: real confidence, lasting success, love that feels steady instead of uncertain. But no matter how much you grow, the same patterns return; overthinking, proving, settling, or chasing validation that never lasts. Just when you start to rise, a voice whispers, “What if they see you’re not enough?” You sense your outer world can’t expand until your inner one heals. You can feel that change is urgent now, and you’re ready for a method that actually works.

They’re someone who’s been holding everything together for a long time. Anxiety feels loud, depression feels heavy, or old trauma still sits in their body. Maybe they’ve used substances or numbing habits just to cope. They want relief, connection, and to feel like themselves again. They’re tired of surviving and want to understand their emotions, rebuild trust in themselves, and create healthier patterns. They’re looking for therapy that feels safe, grounding, and real, somewhere they don’t have to do it alone.

I help people struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, and harsh inner critics learn to relate to themselves with more compassion - because becoming yourself is one of life’s greatest, yet most challenging, achievements. It’s not easy to quiet the inner critic that whispers, “you’re not good enough.” Often, it's the echo of past pain or the weight of the future. You want to show up fully—for the people you love and the dreams that matter to you—but being human can feel overwhelming. Self-doubt, perfectionism, and emotional exhaustion can make it hard to feel whole.
