As a marriage and family therapist, I work with individuals, parents, children (6 and up) and families. I am a systemic based therapist who is here to support, encourage, educate, direct, and challenge you. This all while gaining clarity, understanding, insight, and courage through your journey in life.
My area of focus include adolescent issues, communication, family conflict, trauma, establishing healthy relationships, depression, anxiety, play therapy and self esteem. I use strength based and an integrative treatment approach to therapy throughout sessions. I primarily use evidenced based CBT, EMDR and mindfulness techniques.
I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services Counseling in 2005 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I graduated with a Masters of Arts, Counseling Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy in 2007 from Regis University. I have experience with juvenile offenders, inpatient facilities, private practice, and different agencies all in Nevada.
