I have worked with children and families for over twenty years. My primary focus has been on trauma, connection and attachment. I received my Registered Play Therapist Supervisor about two years ago and have focused in addition on infant mental health.

I have been working in Las Cruces, NM as a therapist for 23 years. My Master's degree is in Social Work, and I'm independently licensed to practice. My special interests include working with trauma survivors and serving the LGBTQ community.

We also specialize in couples counseling issues such as communication issues, trust and infidelity to guide you through turbulent times.

Hope for Healing provides just that. It is important to start with giving hope when it may be lost, and provide hope as a starting point for the healing process. We believe hope is the catalyst for the healing that will come, and is a must to achieve success.

Every human being experiences serious, elevated and/or inflamed negative emotionality brought on by unfortunate circumstances, other family members, friends, a co-worker or even a stranger, at some point in their lives. Feelings of anxiety, depression, uncontrolled anger, worry, loneliness, etc., can keep you from easily stepping forward towards experiencing a successful life full of joy, calm, peace and tranquility. It is rare to have this type of emotional stability 100% of the time, but it is easy to experience this serene and soothing overall manner of being most of the time :)
