I am a Bilingual Licensed Psychotherapist with 11 years of experience, working with individuals and families in areas of community mental health, the corporate sector, and private practice. Currently, I work with immigrant families, adults, and adolescents with a history of inter-generational trauma. I believe that what is helpful for the therapeutic process is providing undivided attention, empathic support, and addressing challenges along the way. The path to meaning and development is by coalescing all aspects of the self into this existence. We are not a separate entity, but united and connected with everything around us.

As a seasoned practitioner and a Training Candidate at the C.G. Jung Institute in Colorado, I love working with clients who want to explore and make needed changes in the behavioral patterns that are no longer serving them in their lives and relationships. Together we can create an environment that safely holds the space for deep self exploration of defended wounds that are often manifested as addictions, anxiety, fear, depression and dissociative reactions; while working toward self-acceptance, non-judgement and the transpersonal retrieval of mind, body and soul.

I enjoy working and developing a therapeutic relationship with people that are struggling in their life whether it's with depression, anger, trauma, anxiety, relationships or even a sense that something needs to change. It's within that struggle that the spark of hope resides and I see it as my job to help people focus on their future, their strengths and successes and then begin to rediscover the hope and power to begin to shape their future and their lives.

Everyone has the capacity to heal no matter how profoundly wounded they are. Each individual's path to healing will be unique and for the best chance of long term recovery a person needs to find a healthy balance within their body, mind and spirit. It is my intention to help each client find the unique treatment team to help them achieve this balance. Additionally, I am experienced in affective, eating and personality disorders, substance abuse and trauma. I also understand how each of these interact with one another and can cause even more distress within each person.

We often have a sense that in some ways, somehow we have been holding back. The barriers hidden behind cost us in our capacity for intimacy, spontaneity, and precious space for the heart's need to express and to be seen. They are usually constructed for very good reasons; to avoid painful experiences and vulnerability. But more often than not, carry on decades beyond when the threatening events have past. Defenses, beliefs, and the wounds that shut us down developed around people. The healing can happen when we feel safety again. Not surprisingly, this needs to happen with people too.
