I’m a social worker and addiction counselor. I’m also the founder of Ease & Wellness Counseling Services. E&W is a non-judgmental and inclusive space where we not only support people living with mental health or addiction concerns, but their family, friends, and loved ones. I’ve noticed that shame, trauma, and grief are connected to addiction and mental health concerns. You may feel alone, overwhelmed, or worried that you’ll be judged. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help. So, I try to make this process as easy as possible! My services are through telehealth. So, we can talk virtually or by phone.

Do you constantly feel overwhelmed, anxious, or irritable? Maybe your mind races with “what-ifs” or worst-case scenarios. You struggle with quieting the inner critic and negative thoughts and at times feel like you’re not good enough. Do you have difficulty managing your emotions and maybe even feel emotionally numb? Maybe you find yourself feeling stuck in the past. You may be searching for a way to handle life stressors with more mastery, heal from past wounds, create stronger and more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others, or for help dealing with difficult life changes.

Hi there, thanks for reading! For many of us it's difficult to ask for help, and sometimes it feels like no one around us understands or has been to a really dark or frightening place. To me, our family and friends are the most important things in this life, and without them eventually things can feel very empty. Although sometimes we can feel lost even when we have good people around us and a decent job. I try to help everyone I work with sort out what's helping and what's making things worse. It could be our job, an awful inner critic, what we think people see when they look at us in the grocery store, or many other things.

For many of us, the journey has been difficult... Feeling trapped, hopeless, and as though you have tried everything, yet are powerless to change things. While everyone will feel this way during dark times, if this has become your day-to-day struggle, it may be time to seek support. I am here for you. I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out and try something different. Whether this is your first experience with counseling or you are interested in a different approach this time, a life filled with meaning, joy, and connection is possible and within your reach.

Immediate Availability! Seeking therapy can feel daunting and intimidating, especially for those of us who come from backgrounds where asking for help is stigmatized and discouraged. As a queer person of color, I recognize the need for representation in the field of mental health care. I am committed to approaching every client with empathy and understanding, taking a person-centered approach that recognizes that all clients and their stories are unique. This perspective is essential in fostering a strong client-counselor relationship and building trust, which is foundational to effective therapy.

Welcome! I'm proud of you for being here. If you're ready to stop living in survival mode and start healing your mind and body, you've come to the right place! I provide therapy as an LMSW and bring systems theory and an anti-oppressive and social justice lens to my practice. Many clients come to therapy to work on skills to manage anxiety, depression, and trauma. I provide psycho-education on interpersonal and systemic trauma and have experience as an advocate, facilitator, and mental health provider in domestic violence crisis and dual diagnosis rehab facilities. I look forward to meeting you and learning your story and goals.

My ideal client is an adult struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar symptoms, or low self-esteem. They need a safe, nonjudgmental space to process emotions and practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts. Their goals include reducing distressing mood episodes, building self-compassion, and identifying value-driven actions that bring purpose. They want to feel grounded in their strengths and develop resilience so they can move beyond mere survival to thriving with hope and confidence
