Now accepting NEW clients! I have availability this week! I see children, adolescents, adults, and seniors for individual, couples, and family counseling. So many times our struggles affect more than one area of our life. I'm grateful to have years of experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds and I use this knowledge to help my clients find the balance, calmness, control, or peace they are looking for. I use your strengths in conjunction with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to move beyond the negative impact of life challenges toward becoming your best self.

Have a problem? Let's begin to solve it! Therapy is much more than just having someone to talk to, psychologists are professionally-trained listeners who can help you get to the root of your problems, overcome emotional challenges, and help you make positive changes in your life. We all have problems and make mistakes; it's the choices we make while dealing with these struggles that will have an impact on our lives. I'd love to be your partner in the recovery process where we move from a state of pain and confusion toward hope, healing, and happiness.

You're doing your best to keep it all together—on the outside, everything seems fine. But deep down, the weight of your past lingers. Maybe you've tried every diet or workout routine, but nothing sticks, leaving you feeling disconnected from your body and frustrated by unrealistic ideals. If you’re questioning what you’re “doing wrong” or feeling discouraged after past failures or losses, you're not alone. Together, we can work towards healing and finding peace with yourself.

I help individuals, couples, and families work through life challenges. I will help you learn new ways to cope, overcome pain, conflict, and other issues life has presented. Married to my wife Amy for over 26 years and having 3 children of my own helps me bring real life knowledge and experience of what works and doesn’t work as a spouse and a parent. I have over 30 years of experience as a Pastoral Counselor and I am Board Certified. Guiding children, teens, couples, parents and families through a Christian based, non-egoic, and collaborative approach is highest priority. I want to know your story and support you along your way.

Have you grown concerned for yourself or your son? It could be anxiety...or depression...or isolation...relationship problems. I was bullied a lot as a kid because I was the smallest kid in class and I had food allergies. This led to chronic people-pleasing and shyness. I also suffered from panic attacks and phobias. My anxiety struggles improved as I got older but my remaining shyness stunted my ability to connect with women. I would go on to better understand my own anxious attachment style and then provide coaching to others wanting successful relationships.

I believe it is important for your voice to be heard. Relationships can be messy and complicated. Our voices can often feel lost in the chaos. I work with clients to help them be and feel, heard. In addition, I believe that no two experiences are the same. This means that even siblings raised together will have different perspectives of their childhood. These differences can lead people to define the world differently than others around them. I help clients to identify these differences and explore the behavioral and emotional impact they have on current relationships. I also offer a Christian perspective when desired by my clients.

I work with women navigating self-worth, anxiety, and the emotional shifts that often come with perimenopause or midlife transitions. Many feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or frustrated that things which once felt manageable now feel heavier. I also support teens seeking another trusted adult perspective.

Relationships never start off difficult. Disappointment, pain, betrayal, distance, emotional shut-off are all among the myriad reasons they become difficult. Often times the distance between two people can feel insurmountable. A trained and effective therapist is able to bridge that gap and provide guidance and support on the journey back to relational health. Research shows most people wait 6 years to seek therapy. By this time, the sparks of discontent have become a fiery inferno and the help of a professional is invaluable in the process of healing and reconciliation.
