Welcome! I provide counseling in a unique setting with amazing animal/equine therapy partners! I have more than 28 years of experience working in a variety of behavioral health settings including a tribal community. I truly enjoy enhancing my clinical practice with incorporating horses in treatment. I am certified in Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) and I am eager to share this equine-assisted counseling experience with our communities. I am dedicated to being a caring, multi cultural, accepting and exceptional counselor for all individuals.

She specializes in depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and behavioral concerns. Meeting the client where they are is her motto. She has experience working with clients that have had weight loss surgery and the effects that surgery can have on everyday life and relationships. Kara also has a passion for working with athletes who are struggling with the pressure of being a student athlete or transitioning out of sports due to injury. She enjoys working with couples and families to create stronger bonds.

With experience since 2005, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Whether you are experiencing a recent crisis, have long term challenges or are making life changes, counseling may be helpful.
