Hello! After 8 years in Boise, Idaho I returned to Southern Utah to enjoy the desert landscape, live closer to family, and serve the community that has given so much to me. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Utah University and a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Idaho State University. As a counselor, I strive to provide my clients with a safe space where they feel heard and navigate challenging experiences. Because I believe clients are their own experts, my goal in counseling is to help those

I know the hopelessness of what you are going through, because I have been there. I lived with the chains of pornography and sex addiction for many years, before realizing I held the keys to my freedom, they were just locked inside me. Since my transformation, I have committed my practice to helping other men heal from the early attachment wounds of shame, that drive them to seek for love, belonging, and acceptance outside of intimacy and connection with others. My work focuses on getting to the root of the trauma and reprocessing it, utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

Healing is a process. It is not something that happens immediately or overnight. Think about how long it took to become wounded. Think about how your body heals from an illness or injury. It is a process of healing, and depending on the complexity of the issue or issues, depends on how long the healing process will take. The same way are bodies are designed for healing, emotionally and mentally we are designed for healing as well. We can support the healing process by resting, taking care of ourselves, and being patient. Healing is not necessarily an easy process but well worth the effort. And you are not alone.

Now welcoming new clients! I understand that the choice to begin therapy can feel overwhelming and uncertain. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can experience compassionate, judgment-free care as you work toward growth in your life and relationships. While trauma-informed care is at the core of my practice, I am equally passionate about empowering clients to discover their authentic selves. This often involves learning to let go of people-pleasing behaviors, setting healthier boundaries, and exploring what it means to live a life true to who you are.

I love to help client's explore their inner world while supporting them in creating a life that aligns with their personal values and beliefs. I find great value in guiding clients through existential shifts, recovery, trauma and identity work. As a mother of neurodivergent children I understand deeply the challenges related to caregiver burnout and the nuances of raising children with high support needs. (Seriously, if this is you- sending you all the good vibes because this stuff is HARD). I hope to empower you with the tools and insights to increase your well-being, quality of life, and relationships

No one understands your trauma better than you. I specialize in helping people work through their trauma so that healing can begin and life can be enjoyed to the fullest. I pride myself on building a positive rapport with each client as this is the foundation of effective therapy. Having empathy and building rapport is just the beginning. I like to tackle things head-on, as we cannot deal with it if we don't identify and talk about it. Whether it's trauma, depression, anxiety, or just going through a difficult time in life, I'd love to meet you where you're at and begin the process.

Depression and anxiety cause emotional pain that can feel like a permanent personality change. Sadness, anger, and shame can spiral out of control until we hardly recognize ourselves. The truth is, it’s not permanent! There is hope! There are many reasons we might find ourselves in despair. Depression can be caused by grief, anxiety, ADHD, adversity in childhood, narcissistic abuse, troubled relationships, or any number of mental illnesses. It can also seem to come from nothing at all! Sometimes existing is just exhausting!

It is my honor to partake in this process with those experiencing some of their darkest moments. It is my privilege to share my hope when individuals come to counseling believing that their lives are past healing and their relationships past repair. My goal is to help you rediscover your inner strength, improve your relationships, and find clarity, acceptance, and healing. I have always had an empathetic ability for seeing the good in people. My personal and professional life experiences have contributed to my ability to meet people where they are without judgement.

At some point, we may find ourselves in a position that throws us off track with no idea how to move forward. I have personally experienced situations where I needed expert help to guide me through the maze in a way where I emerged resilient and empowered. I specialize in trauma, as it seems that almost everyone has experienced trauma at some point in life. It is helpful to understand how trauma is processed by the brain and the body in a completely different way from processing a healthy, happy experience.
