My clients don’t always realize their symptoms are related to trauma. They usually say something like: “I’m exhausted. I’m tired of living in survival mode and cycling between anxious and exhausted. I feel disconnected from myself and my relationships, and sometimes I feel unloveable. I've talked about it in therapy but not much has really changed." If this sounds like you, you're in the right place. To help people heal from their past, I use tools that go beyond talk therapy and really address the subconscious, the body, and the nervous system- starting with learning how to feel safe and present in your body again.

Are you feeling stuck in painful thoughts or weighed down by experiences from the past? Maybe you’ve tried to move forward, but the same patterns keep showing up. Therapy can help you finally untangle what’s been holding you back. I specialize in EMDR therapy, a powerful approach that helps people process unresolved trauma and painful memories that often keep them stuck without realizing it. Together we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface, clear the emotional blocks keeping you in survival mode, and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and peace.

Anxious perfectionism shows up as perpetual shame, guilt, and self-punishment. No matter how hard you try, you're always falling short. It's exhausting, but you don't really know how to relax and probably don't sleep welll. Maybe you're a grown-up "gifted and talented" kid, or the child of immigrants, or the sibling who had to keep it together. Anxious perfectionism may also show up as body tension, severe procrastination and indecision, and difficulty with boundaries and people-pleasing. Perfectionists don't do things perfectly—they feel like they ALWAYS have to do better, and they can’t be happy until they get there.

Are you struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, sadness, or low self-esteem? These feelings are often linked to past events that keep us looping in our lives. EMDR therapy can help you reprocess through those memories and emotions that have left you feeling stuck and overwhelmed. Many times we feel like we understand logically how we want to feel, but our bodies don't seem to agree. EMDR can help bring your body and brain into alignment.

Life doesn’t come with a manual, and sometimes the tools you’ve always relied on stop
working. Maybe stress feels heavier than it used to, or relationships that once felt solid now
leave you frustrated and disconnected. Many men push through these moments quietly, hoping
things will get better on their own, but end up feeling stuck, isolated, or overwhelmed.
Therapy can be a place to pause, reset, and learn a different way forward.

Feeling unsure about where you fit? Caught up wondering what comes next, or who you even are? Navigating the in-betweens of life can feel isolating, stressful, and downright confusing. A lack of safety or support often leads to choosing what is familiar rather than what you truly want.
Good news: you’re not alone, and you don’t have to sort it out by yourself.
Hi, I’m Keely, and I’m here to help. I work with teens, adults, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are going through faith transitions, identity questions, life changes, or struggles with self-esteem.

My name is Sara Taylor Oliver. I'm passionate about people, art, and stories; and I love being a therapist. My therapeutic style is compassionate and sincere. I offer keen insight into your challenges and invite you to see yourself in new ways. I am also holistic in approach; I will carefully assess factors other clinicians may have missed; elements that can be powerful channels for health and wellbeing. From firsthand experience, I understand how complex and abstract it can be to navigate identity, purpose, adversity, relationships, and trauma.

Young adulthood is an exciting time, but it can also be an overwhelming experience. Many young adults experience social anxiety as they focus on new friendships and dating. Others stress about surviving college or committing to a career path. Faith issues become a source of concern for some. For those who are married or in a relationship, connecting with another person emotionally and intimately can be a struggle. Creating a new identity as a young adult can also reawaken old problems from past abuse/traumas, depression, self-damaging behaviors, and scrupulosity/OCD.

Are you in need of immediate emotional relief? Are you in need of seeing an immediate change in your interpersonal relationships? Do you worry that your childhood experiences have dictated the person you are, and there is no hope for change? Or perhaps your traumas are dictating your actions and reactions, and you need it to stop 'yesterday!' Everyone feels at least one of these needs, if not all of them. Because of this, I have developed an eclectic therapy approach for the quickest, most pervasive relief and permanent change.
