I’m a pre-licensed therapist offering evening and weekend sessions for individuals, couples, and families. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, immigration stress, and relationship issues.
You may seem okay on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, ashamed, or stuck in perfectionism and self-criticism. I work with clients navigating these struggles, along with relationship conflict, communication issues, trust concerns, betrayal trauma, intimacy challenges, and life in or outside the LDS Church.

I'm a secular therapist and mainly work with people of all ages who have anxiety, depression, addiction, and PTSD symptoms—especially when the main issue is connected with other people, systems, religions, or organizations. Feeling like we don't matter, like we're going crazy, or like we are all alone is a difficult feeling to have. It only seems to get worse the longer it goes on. With some new tools and techniques, we can help you recognize that you're not crazy, that people care for you, and that you are stronger than you realize.

I want therapy to be a place where you can finally exhale—a space where you don’t have to hide or hold anything back. My hope is that you’ll feel relief walking in, knowing this is somewhere you can wonder out loud, make sense of things, and be met with curiosity and compassion, not judgment. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a crisis response, victim advocate, and educator. That work taught me how resourceful and resilient people really are—and that we’re all more than the hardest things we’ve lived through.

Do you feel stuck, drained, or caught in relationship struggles? It doesn’t need to be that way.
Sometimes what’s needed is dedicated space. Therapy is a space to unpack that pain and find alignment. My own journey began as a child refugee, learning resilience in the face of uncertainty. These experiences shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the deep need to feel seen and heard. Choosing the right therapist is a significant step in your healing process. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, explore what holds you back, and create a path toward the balanced and fulfilling life. Immediate openings available!

I take a more relaxed approach to therapy. I start where you want to and we will work on the issues that you would like to focus on, or what holds you back in life. A lot of people worry about what to talk about, but we can talk about your life events and where you are struggling. I enjoy helping people figure out what their best coping skills are, so you can function at your best.

Hi! I want you to know that it’s going to be okay. You do not have to carry this alone. We can work through this together by gently exploring the roots of what you’ve been facing and making sense of what feels heavy right now. Along the way, I will help you reconnect with your own values so your choices feel true to who you are, not shaped by someone else’s expectations. Little by little, you can begin to trust yourself again, and I’ll be here with you as you make those changes.

Since childhood, I have strived to be a good child. At home, school, and church, I sought the recognition and praise of others. Lacking the courage to be free from the judgment and opinions of others, I always evaluated myself through their eyes. This led me to feel perpetually inadequate and insufficient. With others at the center of my life instead of myself, I naturally felt a sense of depression and emptiness and did not feel excited or eager to start each new day. From a young age I felt very little attachment to life due to feeling like something was so wrong with me and that I deserved to feel this way

Authentic connection offers freedom to express our inner worlds, heal open wounds, and make meaning of life experiences. At times, our own personal exhaustion, loneliness, hurt, worry, and fear can contribute to relational distress, inability to cope, and difficulty recognizing our inner strengths. In treatment, I provide opportunities to heal from your wounds and create a space to build, restore, and foster connections with yourself and others. I conceptualize treatment in a holistic way that focuses on treating intergenerational patterns, mind-body connection, cultural and systemic influences, and identity exploration.

You can live the life you’ve imagined for yourself and therapy is crucial for functioning well in life. For over a decade, I have walked with individuals, families, and couples as they transform to their next best version of themselves. Offering a safe place to process; trauma, relationship wounds, and chronic stress can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves. These experiences often live not only in our thoughts, but within the nervous system, the body, and the ways we relate to ourselves and others. Therapy offers an opportunity to gently process these experiences, cultivate resilience, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.

Life is difficult. It’s hard to engage in valued and meaningful actions when confronted with overwhelming emotions, unhelpful thoughts, and stressful relationships. As a neurodiverse (ADHD) and mixed ethnic person, I know the difficulties that come from navigating a world not built with your particular strengths/weaknesses in mind. I strive to help clients thrive in our imperfect and unfair world. As a published psychotherapy researcher, I use science-based tools to help clients regulate difficult emotions/thought processes, navigate difficult stressors/relationships, and explore their human experience in a culturally humble way.

I specialize in working with the queer community and am passionate about advocating for equality both within and outside of the therapy space. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for stories to be told and met with empathy and understanding.
