I work with adults and LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. I provide an affirming, culturally inclusive space where clients can build insight, develop practical coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Healing begins when a safe space is created and your concerns are validated. This is accomplished by building trust and rapport in a client-centered environment. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to your well-being. As a result, I adapt to the unique challenges presented to find the best treatment modality which will foster growth and satisfaction in your life. Techniques I use to enhance the therapeutic environment include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques.

I'm passionate about empowering humans to be self-healers and building trust with their bodies as rich sources of knowledge to guide this process. I also believes that one of the most powerful forms of medicine is emotionally safe connection, and I prioritizes creating that in the therapeutic relationship. It’s an honor to collaboratively explore layers of the soul through relational therapy, parts work and somatic techniques.

Life's struggles can feel overwhelming at times. Work, relationships, past traumas, gender, sexuality, religious background, and politics can weigh on us until we feel trapped by it all. Our community is facing depression, anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, suicidal ideations, faith transitions, religious trauma, and more. In Utah it is common to have suffered religious trauma and not even realize it, especially as a former member of the mormon church. Whether you are LGBTQIA+ or cisgender/heterosexual, let's work together to help you not just survive, but also thrive.

Many of my clients are college students and young adults navigating disability, chronic illness, or changes in mental health. You might be adjusting to a new diagnosis, rethinking your identity, managing burnout, or balancing school, health, and expectations. These experiences can bring grief, uncertainty, and disconnection from yourself or your goals. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what’s changing, and rebuild stability and direction. I offer telehealth sessions focused on support that is both reflective and practical.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy. This space is for individuals seeking supportive, affirming care while navigating anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, or relationship challenges. I often work with transgender and gender-diverse individuals and bicultural clients navigating multiple identities, family dynamics, or cultural expectations. Many feel uncertain or overwhelmed but want to better understand themselves, feel more grounded, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned.

We all get stuck. "Stuck" could mean: a miserable job; a tough relationship; or difficulty adjusting to life-changing news, and not knowing what to do next. Therapy is a great place to find help getting unstuck and regaining your life's momentum. I help my clients move on from stagnation and help them reach a place that they feel is healthy. Every experience is different and therapy is appropriately designed according to the client's concerns.

You're responsible (maybe too responsible!) and looking for relief and balance. Self-help books and tips only take you so far, and somehow you keep running into the same unhealthy patterns. You want to thrive, not just survive! I specialize in helping competent but exhausted people find greater peace through getting to the deeper, often hidden roots, of why you still feel stuck.
I love using mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and experiential/trauma-informed approaches like IFS (parts work) and EMDR to help individuals move past outdated coping mechanisms. For couples, EFT and attachment work increase connection and love.

Together, we slow things down, understand patterns, and build insight so you can move through life with more clarity and steadiness.

Sometimes we wake up and things don't feel right. Things that used to be easy aren't anymore. We might not like ourselves. We may be grieving, but don't know how to do so in a healthy way. We may feel like we've lost our way; and that things are out of control. We may feel sad, or hurt, angry, afraid, confused, alienated, or stuck and we don't know why or how to leave those feelings behind. We may have trouble regulating our emotions. We may feel alone. It takes courage to face challenges and move beyond them towards mental and emotional peace. Thank you for being so brave and taking this first step.

It happened... In front of everyone. It was humiliating. And scary. This is not okay. The floating sense of anxiety has always been there, but this was a full blown panic attack. It comes on slowly, but you know where it's headed. Things start to feel tense and it's hard to breathe. Can't talk, everything gets blurry, and suddenly you are shaking uncontrollably or blacking out. It sucks to feel out of control like this. It messes up your plans, makes it impossible to feel confident in yourself. In fact, you haven't felt like yourself at all since it happened. When will it go back to normal? Will it ever feel okay again?

Sex and intimacy can be hard to talk about, even with a therapist. Maybe something about your sexual relationship has shifted and you don't know why. Maybe desire has disappeared and you want it back, or pain has made sex feel stressful or impossible. Maybe intimacy with your partner has become strained, distant, or complicated, and you're trying to find your way back to each other. Perhaps infertility, trauma, or the transition to parenthood has changed how you relate to yourself, your body, or your relationship. Or maybe you just know something feels off and you haven't found a space safe enough to say it out loud and sort it out.

Have you found your life shaped by difficult early experiences with parents or caregivers? Perhaps you grew up with unavailable, unpredictable, critical, or self-involved caregivers and you now struggle with self-trust, boundaries, attachment, relationships or shame.
You may have lived your formative years always waiting for the other shoe to drop, or maybe you did your best to prevent an adult in your life from blowing up. Perhaps you learned how to stay small to stay safe. You adapted the best way you could while living in a situation that did not foster self-confidence or allow you to connect with feelings of safety or peace.

Let me guess, you've been in therapy for years and nothing has helped much? You are not alone. Mental health treatment has failed clients who suffer from complex developmental trauma. This is the trauma that happened as a child and there was no escaping the day to day nightmare of not being kept safe. These clients do not benefit from traditional cognitive-behavioral treatment approaches and talk therapy. They likely have high levels of dissociation and a chronic sense of disconnection from themself and others. They have had to turn on themselves in order to survive the unimaginable. It is time to return home to yourself.
