We can not fully become whole without giving permission to the parts of ourselves that we feel fear, shame, and anger towards. By nature all people contain multitudes, including aspects that we feel we can not express, show, or let out and because of this sometimes we accidentally or unknowingly let them out in ways that harm our journey towards wholeness. I myself struggled for years to find a therapist who truly listened and made me feel safe to express things that I felt fear, shame, and anger towards. Without the ability to express all of me, I always felt incomplete.

My approach to therapy is, first and foremost, about the relationship between the therapist and client. Acceptance, compassion, and respect are the building blocks of a therapeutic relationship. I believe in developing a trusting, accepting, and empathetic relationship, focusing on the strengths of the client. My master's education was completed at the University of Denver where I gained unparralleled clinical skills that help me provide the best care to meet client needs. My passion for people, paticularly women, who have experienced trauma grew as I worked at internships helping victims of sexual trauma and their families.
