I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in individual or couples therapy. I have experience in treating various mental illnesses, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. My primary treatment approach utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but I like to tailor each person's sessions to fit their individual needs and preferences.
I like to teach coping skills to empower clients to manage and reduce their anxiety and depression symptoms. We often become so busy handling our life's responsibilities that we forget to make self-care a priority. I have found that Mindfulness is very helpful so enjoy working with people to help them develop their own personal Mindfulness routine.
I enjoy working in mental health because we need to recognize that we are multifaceted individuals. Therefore our mental, emotional, and physical health are all important and deserve our attention. We can all benefit from support and therapy is a great tool.
