I work out of a strengths-based, trauma-informed, sex-positive, anti-oppression, LGBTQIA+ affirming feministic focus. I am skilled in a variety of different evidence-based treatment modalities and pick which modality to use with a client based on a your specific needs. I primarily utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR with the majority of my clients. Stephanie Kettl was born and raised in Casper, WY. She attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies and a Minor in Sociology and then in 2005 she earned a Master of Science Degree in Counselor Education. She moved to Aurora, where she was a Treatment Coordinator at Excelsior Youth Center, treating severely at risk adolescent females from around the country. While at Excelsior, she facilitated individual, group, family therapy, along with canine and equine therapy groups. She has also completed Level I and Level II EMDR training.

Hi and welcome! I am well-versed in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, and working through difficult life events. I'm developing an interest in working with eating disorders and beginning training in this area. I most enjoy working with military, their families, and first responders. Overall, I believe in a holistic approach to therapy in general and I strongly believe that the well-being of our bodies must be incorporated into mental health treatment if it is to be successful. I was born and raised in Evanston, WY. I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Social Work and with a Minor in Disability Studies. I then went on to complete a Master's of Social Work degree and graduated in 2019. I am currently a Provisional Clinical Social Worker. While in school, I worked with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities at Ark Regional Services and vocational services for youth with disabilities at Career Innovations. At a Master's level, I was an intern at a therapeutic preschool for early childhood mental health services in Cheyenne, WY.
