I've always wanted to help children and families thrive. This passion is what drove me to become a therapist and it's what guides my commitment to delivering a positive therapy experience to each family I see. More than anything, I believe that families have unique strengths that will guide them through life's challenging times. I believe in the process of therapy - play therapy and EMDR in particular - as tools to cultivate resiliency, attachment, and problem-solving skills for children and their families.

Having a small private practice allows me to work with people in an intimate, deeply human way. I enjoy supporting clients through life’s biggest transitions: grief, trauma, transformation, and the end of life itself. I bring both emotional and spiritual presence, creating space for people to move through change with clarity, dignity, and compassion. This isn’t just a career for me; it’s a calling, and one rooted in reverence for the human spirit. Every day, I’m humbled by the trust people place in me, and I never take lightly the honor of holding their most tender stories. I'm not trying to fix anyone, just understand their needs.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck—struggling with confidence, caught in painful patterns in their relationships, feeling unsuccessful as parents, partners and people. They’re longing for change but unsure how to begin. Whatever the struggle, there is a path forward - for anyone willing to engage in the journey.

Why horses? Often times we feel stuck or unsure how to move forward, how to cope, how to communicate, or how to connect. Horses provide the opportunity for humans to explore and discover their abilities to do all of those things by providing authentic bio-feedback. The truth is, horses don’t lie! In providing bio-feedback, human partners become self -aware, as well as identify ways to cultivate a meaningful, empathic, and reciprocal relationship, become more mindful, regulate where needed, and eventually create healthier thought and behavior patterns.

I support individuals in their desire to heal and improve their quality of life. Sessions are focused on the development of concrete skills to manage emotions and thought patterns which influence our behaviors in conjunction with EMDR. Clients have described me as straightforward and "no nonsense". I create an active healing environment, more than just talk therapy. The goal is always to achieve the ability to function without therapy in the most effective and short term manner.

Envision a life where the obstacles you face, such as depression, anxiety, fear, and loneliness, no longer hinder your progress. When these concerns cloud your mind and hinder your sense of purpose, they profoundly impact your mood, relationships, and overall quality of life. Therapy can help you cultivate deeper, more meaningful relationships, find more satisfaction in your personal life or professional life, and move away from the influence of worries and fears. I use a combination of talk therapy (narrative therapy, EMDR) and behavioral approaches (ERP) for well-rounded therapy.

It takes strength and vulnerability to do therapy. Sometimes the bravest thing is just showing up. I am a teacher at heart and will take advantage of a teaching moment. I believe you can learn about self and what keeps you stuck, what maintaining factors influence you and the lens you see your world through. I believe in being authentic and curious while exploring possibilities vs labeling and judging. Knowing who we are authentically is powerful. Sometimes the authentic self gets lost, but it is there at your core. "Knowing oneself comes from attending with compassionate curiosity to what is happening within" Gabor Maté.
