If you’ve done a lot of therapy but still feel stuck, I can help. I am a relational, experiential therapist who works with women ready to do deep work and reconnect with their authentic selves. Many of the women I work with have learned to adapt, perform, and care for others - shaped by attachment wounds, trauma, or cultural conditioning - while losing touch with who they truly are. Together, we untangle these stories, heal from your past, and clear what is not yours so you can remember who you are and feel more alive in your relationships and your life.

Asking for help is an act of courage and an important step in the process of healing. As a therapist that has worked with teens and young adults for years, I have witnessed the power of therapy at a critical time of development. At this age when we are trying to find ourselves, it can be very challenging to navigate emotions, relationships, and stressors of everyday life. This period of development can also be a rich time for self-discovery, excitement, and growth. I would love to collaborate with you or your loved one to connect with your innate wisdom and values to foster healing, identity development, confidence and resilience.

Not fitting in may be the most universal experience. Many of us know what it’s like to feel unseen, misunderstood, or weighed down by blame and shame—often turning that weight inward in cycles we don’t have to carry. Therapy offers space to soften judgment, explore the choices that shaped your path, and rediscover meaning in even the hardest moments. Pain is often tied to the places we’ve outgrown. In relationships, our deepest hopes often collide with our deepest disappointments. Expectations about love, care, and fairness aren’t always met. When one person carries more of the weight or old hurts remain unspoken—grief takes root.

On paper, your life looks fine. Inside, not so much. Relationships feel stuck. Old patterns keep repeating. Trauma keeps showing up. Maybe you’ve tried therapy before and it felt like talking in circles... or maybe this is your first time and you’re unsure what to expect. I specialize in therapy for adults and couples that actually helps you make sense of what’s happening, break repeating patterns, and get back in control. At Rivercrest Wellness in Lakewood, we use EMDR, somatic therapy, and CBT to create real, lasting change - not just symptom management.

Art has the amazing power to release the areas of the mind that have been locked up due to previous traumas and experiences. I truly believe in the inherent healing nature that art provides, allowing us an avenue to reach our clients in a different way and create deeper connections through active engagement in art practices. I utilize mindfulness practices in my therapeutic approach and always encourage clients to look inward to find their own personal strengths to promote their healing. Incorporating therapeutic techniques such as CBT and DBT alongside the art therapy ensures a well-rounded therapeutic approach.

What if you are not a problem that needs to be solved? My approach to therapy is to accompany my clients in exploring the deeper mystery of their true self and in tapping into their innate healing power. I guide clients exploring personal and spiritual inquiry, psychospiritual integration (e.g. values alignment, embodiment, meditation practices, near death experiences, post-psychedelic experiences), sexual and gender identity (LBGTQ2IA+ affirming), and post-traumatic growth. I also welcome clients processing religious trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, life and career transitions, isolation, and recovery from narcissistic abuse.

If you struggle with mastering your circumstances, they may end up mastering you. This is a reality we all face, but the time and effort required to do so can be overwhelming. My experience is centered around neurodivergent populations who struggle with emotions and executive functioning. I view each client with holistic, person-centered views of a unique and complex individual rather than just a diagnosis. As an abstract thinker, I specialize in helping you tie the pieces together in a new, autonomous and empowering way. I strive to be genuine and collaborative in sessions-- come talk to me about anything, I would love to listen!
