I view therapy as a collaborative, interactive process that can create change and promote repair. I enjoy helping individuals understand the themes that echo through their lives, broaden their sense of self, build emotional flexibility, and develop meaningful relationships. I work to foster curiosity and empower individuals to develop authenticity, autonomy, and self-compassion. I also strive to playfully challenge unproductive beliefs and explore the function of behaviors. I received my master's degree in 2009 and PsyD in 2012 from the University of Denver.
My goal is to cultivate an open, safe, and honest environment to support your self-discovery, growth, and healing. I practice with an integrated approach grounded in psychodynamic, relational, ACT, and cognitive-behavioral principles to meet your goals and needs. I have completed training in Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
I enjoy working with individuals hoping to address relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, body image, trauma, shame, and life transitions. I am excited to learn about your needs and offer a free phone consultation to determine goodness of fit.
