3/04 update: currently accepting new clients both in person and virtually. You have a lot of the “right” boxes checked, but it sure doesn’t feel that way. Instead there is a heaviness, a sense of discontentment, and way too much time in your head. All that thinking doesn’t solve the problem, it just repeats the same things, the same worries. The more time you spend in your head the less time you are spending with the people, and things you love. You’re not enjoying things the way you want, and things are feeling disconnected. The things that are supposed to help just don’t seem to be working here.

I help people whose mood, trauma, anxiety, depression and intrusive thoughts are controlling their lives learn to cope and feel in control again. Seeking therapy can be a scary step, but I'm excited to say that you don’t have to manage life's difficulties alone. In therapy, I will support you in learning what your body is communicating through sadness, panic, insecurity, grief, and hopelessness. We can explore a variety of ways to process, as well as coping skills that match your life and who you are. I believe that we are experts of our own experiences, and my role is to guide you toward healing while honoring your personal values.

At times, life can be incredibly difficult, presenting us with moments that test our resilience, our relationships, and our ability to cope. Whether you are dealing with a long-term heartache, a recent tragedy, or the complexities of everyday struggles, reaching out for help is a testament to the hope that you have for change. In my work as a counselor, I believe that everyone needs safe spaces to process challenges and that there is hope for healing.

I enjoy helping people get along with one another - with their spouses, parents, children, friends, and coworkers. Issues from the past often complicate relationships, and I work at a deep level to address present-day and past issues. I like to help heal individuals who have been traumatized recently or in the past.

I work with people who feel stuck in their patterns. Often navigating mood and anxiety issues, substance use, or eating disorders. They want relief, and more than just a bandaid fix. A desire to understand why they feel the way they do and build themselves back up. My ideal client is open minded, curious and ready to try new things. In session we will slow down, listen inward, and create a space to explore how to transition from your past into the future.

Do you find yourself chasing goal after goal, yet fulfillment always feels just out of reach? Maybe you’re caught in cycles of people-pleasing, perfectionism, or self-criticism that keep pushing you to overwork, overthink, and overachieve—while still feeling disconnected from what truly matters. The drive for excellence and the fear of “not enough” may have become all-consuming, leaving little room for joy or self-compassion.

I specialize in couples counseling through my therapeutic approach that recognizes healing begins with individual autonomy. You have choice in what you believe about yourself, choice in being in this relationship, and choice in how you voice your needs. Real intimacy emerges when both partners claim their autonomy first, then choose connection from that foundation. In sessions, you face each other directly - most interaction happens between you, not with me. I hold space and intuitively notice where communication breaks down. The deeper work is recognizing you can make requests, not demands, of your partner.

I work with people who want to understand what’s going on beneath the surface so they can move toward a more intentional, meaningful life. My approach draws from CBT and ACT with an existential lens, helping you explore questions of freedom, choice, and values and apply them in ways that change how you actually experience your life. Maybe you’ve been holding it together, but something still feels off. Your mind won’t slow down, your relationships feel repetitive or unsatisfying, or there’s a sense that you’re not quite living the life you want. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to sort it out alone.

Do you feel anxious, stuck, or unsure of yourself in relationships? Maybe you overthink texts, question your choices, or find yourself repeating patterns that leave you feeling disconnected or unfulfilled. You might crave closeness while also feeling overwhelmed by it, unsure how to trust yourself or others. You’re tired of managing anxiety on the surface and ready to understand what’s really driving it. You want calmer, more secure connections and relationships that feel safe, mutual, and emotionally nourishing.

Are you feeling weighed down by stress, anxiety, or relationship struggles? You don’t have to face it alone. I work with adults and teens who are ready to break free from patterns that no longer serve them and build a life that feels calmer, more balanced, and more connected. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I draw from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices to help you develop practical strategies for managing challenges while fostering long-term resilience and self-awareness. What makes my work unique is that I don’t see myself as the expert in your life, you are.
