Childhood and adolescence are foundational and complex periods of life, with impacts that sustain throughout adulthood. Some youth experience acute mental health conditions, and utilize therapy to reduce and learn to better manage symptoms. Other youth utilize therapy as a tool to support navigation through normative developmental experiences, such as learning healthy relationship skills, building distress tolerance, and developing a stable sense of identity. If you’ve noticed your child struggling to succeed and thrive, therapy could be an incredible tool to help them work through challenges and reach their highest potential.

The therapeutic process can be scary and vulnerable. My hope is that we can navigate it together so that you feel completely supported as you strive to find more balance and fulfillment in your life. My favorite part of being a Clinical Psychologist is getting to observe people discover better, truer versions of themselves as they heal old wounds and build skill and confidence. I am an extroverted, curious person by nature who loves to laugh, explore, take risks, get deep, and connect. Therapy has been a natural fit!

I strive to understand my clients in all of their environments. I use the lens of family therapy. My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed and built upon establishing a trusting relationship. I work with caregiver(s) and their child(ren) to help resolve issues within the home and/or school setting. Through therapy we are able to start at the goal of how we want to feel and/or behave and work backwards by creating specific steps to get there. I hold a few beliefs through my practice and these include: 1.The person you spend the most time with is yourself so how we talk to and about ourselves matters. 2. We get the best results when we look at all aspects of health including physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, social, and all others. and 3. We can not stop all bad things and pain from happening in life. We can work hard to cope with them in a way that is effective for us. I look forward to hearing your story.

On your best day, you are bright, bold, and badass; feeling really great because you've got your shiz *almost* together. On your worst, you may feel insecure (doomed, even!), crushed by worry, binging food/booze/Netflix, and wanting to hide under your covers forever and ever. And if you're like most of my ambitious and high-achieving clients, these days can even be in the same week, which is really frustrating, confusing, and downright exhausting. Or maybe you suspect that your drinking is a little OOC, or getting in the way of the life you know you could have. You deserve so much more. Want someone who gets it? I got you.

Struggling with addiction. Survivor of trauma. Creative. Do at least two of these three describe you? If you're struggling to get sober, you're fearful about the impact sobriety might have on your creativity (and life in general). If you're in early sobriety, you're trying to gain your footing in a new landscape. If you're a trauma survivor, you're confused as to why your insight & sensitivity aren't helping you get to that light at the end of the tunnel. What do you do if your pain is too great to manage on your own?

I help to improve relationships, sex, intimacy, sexuality and gender identity to enhance quality of life. I strive to create a safe and accepting space to explore and discover an authentic lifestyle within these aspects of life. Through a sex positive approach, the goal is to reduce shame and enhance authenticity. Beginning with the exploration with relationship to self, my clients are able to enhance their relationships with others. Challenging the messages, beliefs and values family and societal has created allows for clients to learn and create their own narrative for the life that aligns with them.

I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, and addictions. I'm a real human, and I'll treat you like one. You'll probably cry a bit, laugh a bit more, and feel heard and understood along the way. You'll leave therapy more equipped to manage the crap life can throw at you, and you'll be better able to enjoy your life.

I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and commitment to your mental health journey. This includes a holistic and person-centered approach that explores bodily consciousness, emotional processing, belief systems, social supports, cultural upbringing, and past trauma. You can also expect to develop practical tools for managing stress and building resilience as well. Above all, therapy should leave you feeling empowered, capable, and heard. My goal is to foster a safe environment where you feel free to open up without fear of judgement and the accountability to progress towards your goals, both within and beyond our sessions.

I work with clients to explore areas that need to change or improve. I believe we all carry our wisdom and answers, however, sometimes due to trauma or patterns we become stuck in what we do. One may know their behavior is unhealthy, however, may not know how to change. Finding the answers becomes the process of therapy.

You try to stay positive and look on the bright side of things but when you see yourself in the mirror after another lonely weekend of burying your feelings by overeating, overspending, or binge-watching movies, you can quickly become your biggest, harshest critic. You wonder if something is really wrong with who you are, and sometimes you’re afraid that you’ll always feel like this. You wish that all of your hard work would finally pay off socially, and that you felt more connected. You want others’ respect but you wish even more that you could like and respect yourself.

I’m here to support clients as they find their way to more peace, balance, meaningfulness, vitality, and joy. I view therapy as a space where these qualities can be brought to life, with gentleness and patience. I have a deep trust in the unfolding that takes place once we start paying attention to previously unnoticed parts of our experience. I also believe that our bodies and minds are naturally designed to heal. It is my intention to create an environment conducive to that process.
