On the outside, things look fine. On the inside, you're exhausted, anxious, and stuck in patterns that won't shift. People-pleasing, self-abandonment, putting everyone else first at your own expense.
Your nervous system feels constantly on. Relationships drain you. Old experiences still show up in your body before your mind catches up.
You can see the pattern. You just can't seem to get out of it.
If you're ready to understand yourself beyond symptoms and learn how your mind, body, and history interact, so you can respond instead of reacting, you're in the right place.

Hello! I'm so happy you came across my page. As a licensed therapist with 7 years of experience, I understand that trauma doesn’t just stay in the past; it shows up today as a heavy weight of guilt, a critical inner voice, or a constant feeling of being 'on edge.' Whether you are a woman trying to reclaim your sense of self, or a parent watching your child struggle with big emotions, you don’t have to carry this alone. I specialize in helping children, teens, and women move from a place of 'just surviving' to a life where they feel safe, grounded, and free from the shadows of the past.

Life is unpredictable and challenging. Whether due to a life changing event that occurs in the blink of an eye, or circumstances existing for years or even decades, inevitably we all experience periods in our lives where we feel overwhelmed, isolated, inadequate, depressed, anxious, or even broken. Often these feelings are the byproduct of stress or even trauma. If not properly managed, the effects of stress and trauma will eventually have a detrimental effect on our careers, and, more importantly, our personal relationships and families. In some cases, our personal relationships may actually be the source of the stress or trauma.

I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to develop goals and a treatment plan that fits their individual needs. During the first couple of appointments we will discuss the client's reasons for seeking therapy, their personal history, and what they would like to see change. I see my role as helping clients build their inner resources so they have the confidence, strength and sense of peace to live a happy, fulfilling and satisfying life. It is important to achieve a balance in life and know that one can cope with the challenges that lie ahead.

My undergraduate studies gave me an exposure to the mental health component of sports performance. It wasn’t until my graduate studies that I realized mental health was equally important for athletes. This realization was my ‘light bulb’ moment that athletes should have access to trained professional counselors to assist them as they face mental health challenges. An athlete’s mental health is often overlooked and can impact their ability to compete. My goal is to provide tools that foster positive mental health in sport and in life.

The postpartum period and emotional experience of stepping into parenthood can sometimes feel debilitating. Even if we did important work to prepare for birth and plan for a growing family it can come as a shock to feel sadness, irritability, and isolation. If these are feelings you are carrying with you during the postpartum phase I know that there is also pressure to “be strong” often leading to you keeping these feelings to yourself. It’s not talked about in our society nearly enough, but your experience is common even among men. The notion that you are what’s flawed is wrong. What’s missing is adequate support.
