My typical client(s) is/are adults, coming to me as individuals or as couples. At the core of their concerns is simply the desire to feel and be better. Most often their struggles relate to relational matters which are frequently behind issues such as anxiety, depression, addictions and couple conflict. Such struggles appear in our lives in behaviors such as elevated criticism, put-downs, defensiveness, stonewalling, infidelity, self-centeredness, drug use, alcoholism, pornography and gambling. These behavioral problems can all be overcome through therapy with a good therapeutic relationship and willingness to work.

You want to work on communication , healing/recovering intimacy/eroticism in your marriage/relationship. You’re feeling "stuck" in your relationship. This is the last straw before giving up on your relationship. You're on the brink of divorce. You’re wanting to heal your childhood wounds. You're having an affair, or have experienced infidelity. You've experienced narcissistic abuse. You’re contemplating marriage (pre-marital counseling). You want to work on your relationship with yourself, with your partner/spouse, w/ a family member or colleague. Or, you're struggling with out of control sexual behavior (aka "sex addiction).
