Thanks for taking a moment to read a little bit more about me within the weeds of Psychology Today. I am a death-informed clinician (therapist and certified death doula), a mental health educator, and a potential guide through life's hardest transitions. My approach is extremely genuine, compassionate, and ... real. I have many years of experience working with clients who have encountered challenges in life transitions, grief, identity/sexuality, relationships, historical family trauma, depression/anxiety, and questioning what it means to live their truth in life.

Realizing our own needs for acceptance and validation can be hard, especially when we have not been taught to ask for them ourselves. If you feel like you are bursting at the seams with new ideas but don't know where to start or are feeling pressured by new life transitions or impending crises, therapy may be a helpful place to lay your cards on the table and decide the next step.

Are you itching for a change, even if you are unsure a change is possible? Do you find yourself experiencing recurrent uncomfortable emotions (grief, depression, shame, anxiety), painful relationship dynamics, or a deep longing to heal a past trauma? I hold the belief that change is possible and healing is feasible even when it may feel far off. My work is rooted in attachment theory- which means I hold authenticity, compassion, connection, and unrelenting hope at the center of every session.

“Transformation is my passion and purpose. Addiction is a larger call to make deep and lasting changes, both for the sufferer as well as their families. Although at times the process of recovery can be uncomfortable and challenging, our perseverance through it can lend way to a dynamic and beautifully integrated future.“ - Jobi Weinstein

I work with high-functioning women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and couples struggling with anxiety, codependency, trauma bonds, attachment trauma, self-abandonment, and exhausting relationship patterns. Clients often feel stuck in unhealthy relationship cycles and nervous system dysregulation. This therapy is for people who are ready to stop people-pleasing, set healthier boundaries, and create more balanced relationships where their needs matter too. Clients often report improved boundaries, reduced anxiety, healthier relationships, increased self-trust, and lasting shifts in long-standing emotional patterns.

I have a deep interest in people and working together to solve puzzles, excavate shadows, and create possibility. I find that people who best respond to my approach include: artists of all kinds, entrepreneurs, deep thinkers, and people standing at a crossroads in their lives. I recognize that our modern world can create a tension that we all live in, a fine line between overwhelm and opportunity. In my practice, I strive to be a partner that spurs a deeper understanding of what is possible. This can include healing from trauma, substance use/misuse, career issues, strengthening coping skills, and honing a growth mindset.
