Are you ready to get real results in therapy? Are anxiety or OCD keeping you from living the life you want? If you feel stuck in cycles of intrusive thoughts, fear, doubt, or compulsive behaviors, you’re not alone. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we’ll work together to quiet and break unhelpful patterns and build a life guided by your values, not your fears. I’ve helped many clients successfully recover from anxiety and OCD and would be honored to help you reach your goals.

You know that meme of the dog sitting in a burning room saying this is fine? A lot of people come to counseling feeling like that. Your body might hurt in ways that others can’t seem to understand. You might be carrying grief that doesn’t have a name. You might be stuck in cycles of obsessions and compulsions. You might be tired of a world on fire that asks too much and offers too little. My office can be a space where you don’t have to pretend it's fine anymore. You don’t have to justify your feelings or earn your rest. You can be met with warmth, nonjudgment, and even a little bit of humor.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought social isolation, fear about our health and financial worry. Although you may be trying to cope with COVID-19, you may feel anxious, sad, angry or irritable, have difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating, changes in appetite, or struggle to engage in daily routines. If these symptoms continue for 2 weeks, it is time to seek help. Hoping symptoms of depression and anxiety will just go away without treatment can result in worsening of symptoms. I am experienced in working with adults with growing up issues, adjustments, current and past trauma, loss, life transitions and chronic illness.

You are struggling with emotions, feeling out of control in managing these emotions and daily you feel like screaming, What The Fuck! Well, that is many of us who learn unhealthy ways in which to cope, so that we can tackle all of our daily responsibilities and show our strength and resilience to the people in our lives. This can only be done for so long, until you actually feel yourself unable to keep the real emotions inside of yourself. That is not a healthy way to exist, although up to this point it has worked. This is your way of surviving childhood trauma, complex trauma and emotional pain but now you want to thrive!
