I work with emerging adults and young professionals who are somehow both overachieving and falling apart. Whether it's anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, relationship confusion, burnout, OCD, low self-worth, or big life questions that keep you up at night - you're in the right place. Maybe you're constantly second-guessing yourself, unsure of who you are or where you're headed, juggling work, relationships, school, and the occasional identity crisis - while overanalyzing every text you send, spiraling after small mistakes, smiling through the stress, and lying awake wondering if you’re doing life wrong - you’re not alone.

Prompt scheduling for new clients! Life is unpredictable, and traumatic events and life changes can cause individuals to feel lost, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. My primary focus is to help individuals identify any areas in their lives that may be causing hindrances to their happiness, personal growth, and overall well-being. I believe that in order to heal, it's important for individuals to gain a better understanding of themselves, their relationships, and how life experiences have impacted them.

Growing up is HARD. Especially when you have all these big feelings inside, and have no idea what to do with them. From bullies, to self-comparison, to social media, to feeling like no adults really get you. I remember what it's like to be a kid who felt like no one understood what they were going through or took them seriously, which is why I chose to be a child and teen therapist. To be that adult for YOU. I’m truly honored to be a part of your child or adolescent's wellness journey. I strive to create a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and comfortable—where kids and teens can feel safe processing their emotions.

You know that meme of the dog sitting in a burning room saying this is fine? A lot of people come to counseling feeling like that. Your body might hurt in ways that others can’t seem to understand. You might be carrying grief that doesn’t have a name. You might be stuck in cycles of obsessions and compulsions. You might be tired of a world on fire that asks too much and offers too little. My office can be a space where you don’t have to pretend it's fine anymore. You don’t have to justify your feelings or earn your rest. You can be met with warmth, nonjudgment, and even a little bit of humor.

Welcome to my profile! In a nutshell, my work with people involves helping them break out of the boxes they’ve been put in. Boxes are boring. They're artificial. Often suffocating. As a psychologist who is transgender, I have both the personal and professional backgrounds to assist people in pursuing their authentic selves. As we work together, we’ll confront oppressive systems and discuss stigmas while also exploring your feelings, examining your thoughts, staying curious about the present moment, and clarifying your values. I also provide gender affirmative psychotherapy, as well as brief assessments for WPATH letters.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought social isolation, fear about our health and financial worry. Although you may be trying to cope with COVID-19, you may feel anxious, sad, angry or irritable, have difficulty sleeping, trouble concentrating, changes in appetite, or struggle to engage in daily routines. If these symptoms continue for 2 weeks, it is time to seek help. Hoping symptoms of depression and anxiety will just go away without treatment can result in worsening of symptoms. I am experienced in working with adults with growing up issues, adjustments, current and past trauma, loss, life transitions and chronic illness.

You might be someone who may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or stuck in patterns shaped by past trauma or difficult relationships. You may be navigating life transitions. Deep down, you may want to feel more grounded, connected, and confident in themselves. You may be seeking a safe space where you won’t be judged or dismissed, where your emotions and experiences are validated and explored with compassion. You may not always know exactly what healing looks like, but are open to doing the work gently, with support. Your goal isn’t perfection; it’s clarity, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience.

Avoid the commute and try Online therapy! I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). A very effective and helpful therapy that cuts talk time in half, and focuses on releasing present and past emotional distress. I also use the latest mindfulness techniques, among others, to provide you with a personalizad and comprehensive treatment. It is not uncommon for someone to find themselves in a state of emotional reaction, due to negative childhood experiences, life challenges, trauma or constant relationship problems. This is not only an emotional response, but a physical and spiritual one as well.
