For over fifteen years I’ve been helping individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I am experienced in helping clients overcome and manage anxiety, depression, current life transitions, conflict in relationships, or disconnection through loss. I am trained in CBT, EFT, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). I believe in everyone’s resilience and ability to overcome challenges and thrive, with the right tools and support. I am passionate about collaborating with my clients to develop skills and strategies (that) they can use to grow happiness and fulfillment in their lives.

You don’t feel like a badass. You don’t feel empowered, free, inspired, joyful, or aligned. It all feels “off.” You can’t seem to do anything “right” or be “enough” for yourself or anyone for that matter. You feel “weird,” “different,” and like you give more than you get. You feel like you need to change everything, but don’t have the energy to change anything. So you’ve stayed stuck. You're a good friend, but when it's time to get your needs met, others fall short. You've gotten bitter, resentful, and isolated often thinking "what's the point?" You try so hard, so why are your relationships suffering?

As a mom myself, I know that the life of a parent is not always easy. We second guess ourselves, carry guilt when we mess up, and mostly just want to raise kids we can be proud of, who will be successful members of society. Unfortunately there are many factors that can interfere with our parental hopes and dreams. School work, or lack thereof, and after school activities, along with homework, poor grades at school, over all busy schedules, trying to get dinner on the table, and bad attitudes are some challenges that we face on a regular basis.

Anxiety, depressive feelings, being afraid of where the future may lead, or trying to figure out how to get over initial humps are common, but may also feel emotionally and physically draining. Therapy should be thoughtful, supportive, and provide a sense of safety for you to be yourself. This is the environment I look to create so that you can gain a deeper sense of self, and explore old thinking patterns and behaviors that may be preventing you from moving forward. I can offer a fresh perspective to help you re-frame those negative thoughts in a more productive direction.
