During my own personal journey in seeking a therapist, I found it difficult to connect with a counselor in whom I felt safe to tell my most personal concerns. Finding the right help didn't come easy. So, after 25 years in the medical profession, I answered a heart felt calling to provide the counseling I had long searched for. Even with all of the wonderful theories I learned and now practice, the most important element in counseling is the trust relationship between the therapist and the client.
