I'm a licensed professional counselor who works primarily with young people, 13 years of age and up, who are confused about life and have become angry, non-communicative, anxious, unmotivated, depressed, self harming, and/or suicidal. I help them explore and understand the very things that confuse them, whether it is managing emotions, family dynamics, communication, organization, self-esteem, experiencing grief, navigating social dynamics with healthy boundaries, how to make sense of thoughts and feelings, or how to build resilience.
I help young people and their families find communication skills, coping skills, peace, and understanding. Adolescent's problems can, more often than not, stem from family dynamics, therefore I work with families and individual adults as well.
