I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist with experience working with adolescents, adults and families. My approach is supportive, collaborative and reflective. I use a personalized approach to establish a treatment plan that allows you to better navigate the difficulties you are experiencing to achieve a more balanced lifestyle.

I approach each person holistically, valuing their uniqueness, history, spirituality, and other individual and contextual factors. After a thorough assessment and carefully listening, I collaboratively craft a therapeutic approach (integrative therapy) with emphasis on the client's strengths, to help the client achieve his or her goals. From major depression, anxiety, self-esteem or relationship issues to bereavement, adjustment issues at any life phase or career decisions, or recovery from addictions, my clinical background has prepared me to help a wide variety of clients with many kinds of issues.

Life is such a struggle. You are in a season where you need a safe place to be authentic and can work through the challenges you are facing. Relationships aren't supposed to be this difficult, or so we think... We all have experiences and traumas, big or small, that effect the way we feel and respond, and often times make us feel stuck. I've lead classes on how to improve your communication with others, groups helping navigate depression, anxiety, stress management, and improving self-esteem.

My goal is to help you feel safe as you discuss your most difficult and emotionally charged thoughts and feelings. l am excellent at identifying the deeper issues and I give homework that is focused on symptom relief. Arlene McMillan, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Texas and Colorado. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. Arlene has experience working in outpatient and community-based settings using eclectic modalities to include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Arlene has a fundamental belief in building a therapeutic alliance to foster resilience, self-advocacy, and empowerment. Currently, Arlene sees patients via telehealth.

My name is Susan M. Hogan, MA, LPC-S. I go by Sunne (like sunny) and I’m a therapist at Heading Health. I grew up in the metro-Boston area and got my BA in 1997 (Psychology Major and Women’s Studies Minor) at UMass Lowell. I moved to Dallas, TX in 2000 and went to graduate school at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX, where I graduated with my MA in Counseling Psychology in 2005. I have been fully licensed since 2008. Many of my clients since graduating (during my internship and after I was fully licensed) have experienced PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety.
