Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage—so if you’re here, give yourself credit. Real change begins when you decide you’re ready for something different. I work with teens, college-age adults, and adults who feel weighed down by emotional baggage and are ready to understand it rather than carry it alone. You might be struggling with building meaningful connections, speaking up for yourself, managing intense emotions, or untangling how family dynamics have shaped the way you see yourself and trust others.

I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families navigating the emotional toll of immigration-related challenges. Many of my clients face profound psychological stressors—ranging from trauma, separation from loved ones, fear of deportation, to cultural adjustment difficulties—that significantly impact their mental health and overall functioning. My goal is to ensure that every psychological report not only meets the evidentiary standards required by USCIS but also humanizes the client’s experience—giving voice to the pain, resilience, and hopes that often accompany the immigration process.

When trauma impacts one member of a family, the ripple effects impact everyone. I believe that the best way to help children and adolescents heal is to work together with parents and caregivers to provide tools and resources for strengthening connection and encouraging positive coping.

Tu palabra es tu magia is Spanish for "Your word is your magic." I am a firm believer that our words carry immense transformative and healing power. Our words create our thoughts and our thoughts impact our behavior. If we can get to a place where we are able to control the type of intrusive thoughts we have, we can control the type of emotions we feel and change our behavior. You may find yourself struggling to quiet the chatter in your mind telling you you are worthless or not capable, or maybe it keeps re-playing fears of the future or haunting memories from the past. Let's help you retrain the brain and take charge of your joy!

My focus is on substance use disorders, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring disorders (i.e. mental health concern plus a substance use concern). Your goals are my goals. I love to see people grow and overcome their struggles. Currently, my focus is limited to substance use disorders, but in 2026 I will be expanding to co-occurring disorders (i.e. I will be done with my degree and I will be a therapist).

We all go through seasons where we feel bogged down, overwhelmed, and tired. This can leave us feeling misunderstood, unseen, or unheard. Prolonged struggles can affect our sense of self and impact relationships with our family and friends, making it difficult to get unstuck and move forward. In my practice, I partner with you as you navigate the difficulties that life has thrown your way. My training and lived experience helps me to remain informed as we consider your many different parts and the perspectives that come with them. My hope is to create a space where you feel safe to be your whole, authentic self as you heal.

As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, my passion is to create a space for queer and neurodivergent immigrants to feel seen and accepted. It is not uncommon for first, second and third culture folks to have experienced therapy that didn’t make space for their cultural identity and sometimes even required them to conform to an individualistic social culture; when the truth is, you don’t have to. You don’t have to suppress or hide any parts of yourself to show up in the world, and you definitely don’t have to do that in this therapeutic space.

You might be someone who may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or stuck in patterns shaped by past trauma or difficult relationships. You may be navigating life transitions. Deep down, you may want to feel more grounded, connected, and confident in themselves. You may be seeking a safe space where you won’t be judged or dismissed, where your emotions and experiences are validated and explored with compassion. You may not always know exactly what healing looks like, but are open to doing the work gently, with support. Your goal isn’t perfection; it’s clarity, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience.
