My passion is working with children, teens and families, whether that is coping with normal life transition difficulties (e.g., separation anxiety, bed wetting, behavior problems in school, etc.) or dealing with the harder stuff (e.g., attachment disorders, divorce, bullying, abuse, etc.) I facilitate play therapy with kiddos, and have a playroom with a variety of toys where children are able to use their natural language of play to express needs in a developmentally appropriate manner. With teenage clients, I strive to establish a safe environment and develop trust and rapport to be able to talk about the hard stuff.

In my first years in the field, I noticed the trend of individuals understanding their patterns of self-sabotage but still feeling unable to break these as the therapeutic work they have done was all cognitive and therefore, had not resulted in a heart change. People would be able to understand from a logical sense that they had worth for example, but struggled to feel worthy or treat themselves as having value in spite of having engaged in therapy for years. To address this, I pursued continued education in order to better help these particular clients.

You may be someone who has experienced distressing or disappointing relationships and wants to understand why certain patterns keep repeating. Many clients I work with are ready to heal deeply rather than move forward unchanged. You may be exploring generational trauma, mother/family wounds, attachment patterns, or beliefs that didn’t start with you but continue to shape your identity, self-worth, and choices. You’re seeking clarity, self-trust, and healthier relationships rooted in understanding rather than survival. Faith integration is also available for clients who desire this approach.

You may be a first responder or military service member who looks “high functioning” on the outside but feels worn down internally. Trauma, hypervigilance, sleep disruption, emotional distance, or difficulty shutting off may be affecting your work, relationships, or sense of safety. Many individuals in high-stress roles delay seeking support because they’re used to carrying the weight alone. You want trauma-informed care that understands the realities of your role and respects your strength, experience, and resilience.

I believe every person deserves a space where they feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. As a native Texan who has lived all over the country, I spent my early years on the fields of college football and later carved out a decade in corporate America. It was through these experiences that I realized my true calling: to walk alongside others as a therapist, helping guide them toward healing and growth. In my practice, I bring a warm, empathic presence, free of judgment, and I infuse our work with humor and lightness to help ease the weight of life’s challenges. I’m here to help you rediscover your strength, purpose, and hope.
