I focus on helping people to overcome symptoms of grief, depression, anxiety, and relationship stress. I provide a safe environment and compassionate support to identify the impact these are having on daily living and personal relationships. I then provide professional expertise to guide people through implementing therapeutic strategies to overcome them. My goal is to use support and education to empower people to make changes that will help them to feel more fulfilled, content, and effective. I use evidence-based interventions and regularly learn new techniques scientifically proven to make positive and lasting changes.
Meeting with a grief therapist after an important loss can help to learn about the process of grieving and better understand the impact it has on your daily life. It can also help develop coping skills to deal with the loss, understand what is next, and expedite the bereavement process.
Feel free to call me to ask questions or set up an appointment. Appointments are available on a weekly or every other week basis. I try to be flexible with work schedules and offer evening sessions as late as 7:30 to 8:30 pm.
