I am an LCSW (Licensed Certified Social Worker) who is passionate about creating meaningful connections and therapeutic bonds with my clients. I firmly believe that sometimes, this connection serves as the primary source of encouragement, praise, or a sense of safety in an individual's life. I consider it a privilege to offer this to my clients, helping them perceive the world from fresh perspectives. My goal is to empower you to stand up for yourself, recognize your strengths, needs, desires, and aspirations, and work collaboratively to help you achieve them, ultimately becoming the best version of yourself.

Progress, not perfection. This is a concept that is often hard to wrap our brains around because we have been conditioned to believe that we have to have it all together at all times, but this is not the reality. Healing is a messy process, and it is the baby steps that add up to crossing the finish line at the end. The process can be difficult and frustrating, but so worth it. I want to thank you for taking this first step towards building a better you.

As parents and children get frustrated with each other, it often results in strained relationships and exhaustion for all involved. Parents who want to better understand their children and themselves can benefit from tools and strategies to help them know how to respond in healthy ways.

Your world is spinning. Your heart is beating rapidly, and you’re finding it difficult to catch your breath. Your thoughts race between “What am I going to do?” and “Who am I without them?” Tears are flowing. Can you hear the voice now? The voice that has always been there. It is still calm and nurturing. “I am here.” “You will be ok,” it whispers. But what does “ok” look like moving forward? Whatever it is, you know that it will be drastically different than the old “ok.” It is time to create a new normal. You’ve silenced your inner voice for so long, but now you know you need it more than ever. It’s time to tune into that voice.

I specialize in Adult Attachment, with subspecialties in Earned Security, Sexual Health, Couples Therapy, and Trauma‑ and Stress‑Related Disorders. Adult attachment wounds rarely present themselves directly, they surface through the symptoms of the disorders they evolve into, rather than the original relational injuries that shaped them. Effective treatment requires identifying and addressing these attachment‑based survival strategies alongside any co‑occurring mental health conditions, creating a more accurate diagnosis and a truly holistic path to healing.

You are doing great! . . . mostly. Yes, there's the rising tension in your marriage and recently one of you used the "D" word. Or you worry about money or you worry about your kids because maybe they are lazy or don't respect you. Or you worry about your parents who are aging. You are good at your job but work doesn't fulfill you. You might be spending more and more time alone with your thoughts, and you find them difficult companions. They might make you feel like you are drowning in anger and sorrow. You are doing great, but sometimes it feels like you are hanging on by a thread. Or maybe the thread has already snapped.

You’re building a successful life together, but your relationship feels fragile. Arguments repeat without resolution, trust has been shaken, and somehow, you’ve begun to feel like strangers in the same home. You try to talk to each other, but instead you manage to talk past each other. Sometimes the words you say and the words you hear cut deep. Criticism and blame dominate your relationship to the point that you just go to your own corners, hurt and feeling defeated. This isn’t how you thought your relationship would go. You want more than survival. You long to be understood, valued, and deeply connected again.

I believe in the concept that people can not start from where they want to be, but have to begin their journey from where they are. We as people go through many challenges in our lives. Sometimes we find ourselves struggling day to day, having to somehow meet all our ever-growing responsibilities. Some of us struggle with the pain we carry from our pasts, and it can feel as if this hurt is holding us back from finding joy in our present days. Some of us struggle with feelings we may not even understand. We can feel burdened by these intense feelings and may not know how to move forward from these emotional and mental binds.
