Life can hit hard. Stress and heartache can build over time or it can explode instantly into one big mess. Most of the time you can get through ok on your own but sometimes it's just too much to keep going solo. Worries, bad memories, feeling overwhelmed, kids/significant other driving you nuts, or wanting to just hide in bed can take over. Sometimes you need a friendly ear to help you figure out what happened and how to get out of the mess without feeling judged or looked down on. Someone who can help you feel like you again: happy, hopeful, confident, empowered!
I am happy and ready to be that ear. I am trained specially to work with trauma or abuse history, depression, anxiety, behavior management for kids, OCD, anger, and relationship problems. I have a great working collaboration with area Psychiatrists and Physicians to coordinate for the best and quickest relief if medical intervention is necessary.
My office is discrete, serene, bright, and up-lifting. The building is located on a walking trail. My interaction style is direct, respectful, science-driven, and non-judgemental. Sometimes we even have fun and laugh! I look at and try to help untangle what happened to get you here; never at what is "wrong" with you.
