As a therapist, it is my belief that everyone deserves to have a safe empathic, non- judgmental environment to which they can begin to better understand themselves and others. Therapy provides the opportunity for growth and change and eventually, a better understanding of one's self. This process is a collaboration to discover the desired lifestyle and happiness we all want. I offer a non judgmental warm supportive environment to help my clients process and express themselves.
As a Registered Play Therapist, I help children deal with a variety of concerns including anxiety, social skills, behavioral issues (home and school) and low self-esteem. Through play therapy children learn about themselves, their world, and how to manage and express their emotions. Parent coaching and consultation is essential to the child's success!
In addition to servicing children and adolescents in a school and private setting, I have extensive experience working with adults and specialize in self esteem issues, trauma, family issues, adjustment to life changes, anxiety and sexual issues.
