I love children, and especially appreciate the opportunity to work with young children and their parents. I believe that when a child is struggling with some type of emotional or behavioral issue, it is important for them to have a safe place to discuss their concerns and feel that they have someone "on their side." My office is filled with toys and art projects to help any child feel safe and comfortable.

I have approximately twenty years of experience working with adolescents, adults and families dealing with issues pertaining to depression and anxiety disorders, past trauma, stress and anger management, family and relationship difficulties, behavioral problems, positive decision making, and grief/loss. As the wife of a retired Air Force veteran, I have a comprehensive understanding of the issues and difficulties facing service members and their families. I also have extensive experience addressing client trauma and aspire to assist clients in reprocessing their trauma so that they can lead full and healthy lives.

My background includes significant experience in the delivery of behavioral health care including individual psychotherapy and inpatient, intensive-outpatient, and outpatient groups.
