I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. My practice is trauma informed to address symptoms of PTSD and Acute Stress and I have received trainings in Hypnotherapy and Internal Family Systems as well as CBT and DBT. I incorporate mindfulness practices into my work and periodically run groups for those who desire to develop these skills more fully. Please know that my practice is LGBTQIA affirmative and I will not provide any form of conversion therapy.
AASECT certification in sex therapy keeps me up to date on evidence based practices that support healthy sexual expression and functioning. I strive to provide clients with a safe environment to examine aspects of their sexuality while providing accurate and reliable information they may not otherwise have access to.
I find that difficult times often remove us from a sense of who we truly are. Our identities get lost as relationships come and go, whether they are romantic, familial, or work related. I believe there is profound healing in reconnecting with our true selves by showing compassion for the many parts that make up who we are as people.
