Hi, I’m Maryanna. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or carrying more than you can seem to move through on your own—you don’t have to do that alone. I work with those navigating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, helping them come out of survival mode and into a more grounded, steady way of living. Our work is both practical and deeply supportive—focused on helping your nervous system regulate so real change can happen. My approach integrates evidence-based therapy with a more holistic understanding of the body, mind, and lived experience. Together, we’ll build a path forward that actually feels doable and aligned for you.

Even the most painful experiences can become powerful catalysts for growth. You don’t have to go through this alone. If you’re ready to explore, reflect, and move forward, I’d be honored to support you in that process.

I believe strongly that the capacity to heal, grow and thrive lives within all of us. Taking the first step towards this journey can be difficult as trauma, loss and the challenges of life often leave people feeling stuck and without hope. Let me walk this road with you by providing an atmosphere of respect and compassion as you move toward deeper awareness, healing and overall well-being.

I have specialized in the treatment of PTSD related to sexual assault and combat for the past ten years. Many people experience more than one trauma and often spend large periods of their lives feeling physically and/or emotionally unsafe, which results in complex trauma. Complex trauma often occurs through childhood abuse, interpersonally violent relationships, emotionally abusive relationships, narcissistic abuse, or exploitative relationships. If you struggle with feelings of not being “good enough,” a critical internal monologue, or self-compassion, therapy can help.

Personally and professionally, I believe that human relationships have the most capacity for damage and most capacity for healing. I practice under the ethos that the best indicator of successful therapy is the relationship built between therapist and client. Our unique relationship serves as a container to this time of your life and the issues that are ready to be seen, felt and metabolized. Within that container, you will be able to experience yourself within a safe relationship and know the felt sense of being connected to yourself while being witnessed by another.

Stressful situations can cause anxious or depressive thoughts, irritation, or a negative view of self, which can impact your outlook and how you are interacting with others. You may feel overwhelmed and need assistance in working things out. Reaching out can be difficult, however, taking that step can lead to real opportunities for growth and acceptance. Therapy can be helpful in dealing with many issues, such as: low self-esteem, relationships and emotional boundaries, grief and loss, career changes, or caregiver burnout.

My ideal clients are adults feeling emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, disconnected from themselves or exhausted from carrying too much for too long. Many struggle with anxiety, trauma, self-esteem concerns, boundaries, life transitions or the lasting impact of difficult family experiences. I provide a warm, trauma-informed, affirming space where clients can better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. You do not have to navigate it all alone.
