I have a passion for working with people with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, as well as other struggles. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and utilize that modality in addition to traditional therapy to help people process and overcome their challenges. I use a direct, structured, and goal oriented approach while also offering hope and compassion when working with my clients. EMDR is most well known for treating trauma, but I have found success in treating OCD and various other phobias also.
I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society, and EMDR International Association.
