I am a CERTIFIED IMAGO RELATIONSHIP THERAPIST. I specialize in relationship work, and my style is collaborative. I believe that my clients are looking for three things when they come into my office: 1-Encouragement that their pain or negative situation will lessen or end, 2-An opportunity to be heard and validated for their feelings and experiences, 3-A plan of action to improve their lives. My clients often report that they feel empowered after working with me. I offer more than one solution to a problem so that my clients may choose the one that best suits them.

Every day, you put on a brave face, smiling through the struggles, hoping to keep it all together. When people ask how you’re doing, you give the usual response: “I’m fine, thanks.” But deep down, you wonder—does anyone truly see me? Does anyone care about the pain I carry? I want you to know that you are seen, and you are not alone. No matter what you're going through, there is hope. The hurt, the weight, the feelings of being stuck—you don’t have to carry them forever. Healing is possible, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on this journey.

Welcome! I would love to work with you to improve your life. I've helped many people with personal growth issues. I've seen clients improve from the curve balls life has thrown at them like infidelity, health issues, infertility, and grief. I've helped clients improve their functioning while dealing with severe diagnoses of depression, bipolar and anxiety. Family peace can be restored between parents and children.

If one more person tells you “you’re so resilient,” you might scream. You’re burned out, anxious, masking hard, or stuck in trauma loops no one sees. I help clients like you break the cycle. I work with adults, teens, and couples who are done pretending they’re okay. Clients often include — Women carrying everyone else’s weight — LGBTQ+ folks craving real safety — Neurodivergent people with ADHD or autism tired of performing — Trauma survivors who need someone who won’t flinch — Couples in crisis — Teens and adults dealing with anxiety and depression, especially when things feel too messy for most therapists —

I see you—your strength, your resilience, and your deep potential. If you’re here, it’s because you know there’s a better path waiting for you. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by anger. You’ve been in survival mode for far too long, and you’re ready for something different—healthier, more fulfilling ways to cope with life. You are unique, and I’m here to honor your journey. Together, we’ll process the past in a way that allows for real growth and change. I’ll create a space where you can let go of the shame and fear that have held you back and start connecting with your inner goodness.

My ideal client is curious about their inner world and seeks deeper self-understanding. They may struggle with life transitions, trauma presenting as anxiety or depression, be neurodivergent, or feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. They need a safe space to explore their emotions, reconnect with their body, and unburden extreme beliefs and emotions. Their goal is to cultivate self-compassion, self-dedication, and authenticity. They want to feel more grounded, empowered, and connected—to themselves and others—so they can live with greater ease and purpose.

I have been a clinical social worker in the mental health field since 1998. I want to first acknowledge that I live and work on the ancestral lands of the Kansa, Osage and Kickapoo Nations. I honor the elders past and present of these nations. As a trauma therapist, I recognize the devastating cost of US colonial policies and actions to these peoples.

Couples tend to be the relationship dynamic most likely to seek out therapy, but all relationships are important. Relationships I work with include, but are not limited to: marital, intimate partner, co-parent, sibling, friend, and workplace relationships. We tend to find ourselves repeating old patterns of attachment and communication created during formative years. This can lead to feeling stuck, frustrated, and disconnected. While two people are required to create a pattern in a relationship, one person can often effectively change the dynamic through learning new skills, setting healthy boundaries, and improving communication.

I enjoy using IFS (Internal Family Systems) to work with adults and older adults who are going through a major life "event," such as burnout, retirement, or grief and loss. I see many fellow social workers and healthcare providers and we work together in figuring out how to be emotionally ok while working in healthcare to avoid burnout. Many of my clients are caregivers who need support and validation around being so isolated. Clients do best with me who are open to changing some behaviors (including self-care) and are not easily offended when some "therapeutic cussing" occurs!

My clients generally reach out for help when struggling with an adjustment, a loss, or a relationship that has problems. I most often see women, during pregnancy or postpartum, or at other times of crisis or difficulty during their lives. The relationship that I form with my clients is the most important aspect of the therapy, as it is the trust and emotional safety that is the foundation for the work we will do. It is within that therapeutic relationship that a deeper understanding of oneself and change can occur.
