I am a clinical psychologist with post doctoral training from Stanford/UCSF and the Menninger Clinic. I have been licensed as a psychologist for 23 years and my training prior to being licensed spanned 10 years. As a therapist I offer an increased sense of safety and structure in reflecting on feelings. In this environment one relaxes and new perspectives emerge -as well as an increased ability to trust and find solutions within one's self. I am both a patient listener as well as an active and engaged clinician who offers personal insights and feedback.

I enjoy working with Children and Adolescents. I recognize the value of guiding and helping parents in their goal of improving their family relationships, utilizing play therapy and other psychodynamic techniques and interventions. I help children and adolescents to express their emotions and reactions to challenges in their lives. Families play an essential role in children's healing processes. The interaction between children's problems and their families is always complex. Play therapy helps in multiple Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Disorders.

An eager and excited lifelong learner – I work with individuals and partners looking to anchor or reconnect to their inner peace and rootedness. As a native Kansan who loves traveling, with my undergrad in anthropology, I enjoy interacting with a variety of cultures and learning restorative modalities which I use to find my own daily peace and happiness. My therapy focuses include, life transitions, adverse childhood experiences, spiritual and existential exploration, trauma healing, health and injury recovery, grief, and relationship challenges.

The issues I work most with is trauma, attentional disorders, anxiety, life transitions, identity and grief. My clients range from later adolescents and adults. Often, I integrate spiritual components if clients are open to and feel comforted by utilizing these perspectives. Kendall provides a dynamic, relationally focused, integrated approach to the treatment of substance-related disorders, addiction, and other commonly co-occurring disorders. She believes that the duality that has historically existed in the substance abuse/addiction field and the broader mental health field impedes client outcomes. She aids clients in gaining insight into the function of addiction in their lives, enhancing distress tolerance, and developing adaptive coping mechanisms. She emphasizes the ongoing cultivation of supportive, differentiated, interpersonal relationships to enhance prognosis for long-term recovery.

I have specialized in working with different ages over the past almost 3 decades and now get to work with them ALL. I creatively engage children/adolescents with interventions tailored to individual needs. I equip & support my clients' parents/guardians from a parent and clinician perspective. My favorite job of all time was directing a college counseling center as young adulthood is an ideal time for intervention to build resiliency and equip for the future. I want to meet adult clients in the midst of their challenges, crises, mental health struggles, and just plain life.
