You've been told you're too intense or not moving fast enough. You're the one who notices everything, feels a lot, and can't just turn it off. Maybe you always ask and want to know WHY but nothing ever makes sense. I work with people who feel deeply and think intensely. If you're ready to look at the questions, build a better foundation, and stop doing things that make no sense or hurt just to appease others, we'll work well together. If this sounds like you and you're in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Missouri, or Vermont, let's have a conversation. You don't have to have the perfect words to start.

Welcome! Reaching out for help is the first, and often hardest, step to a happier, healthier life. Regardless of what brings you to counseling, finding a therapist that is a good match is essential to the process. I feel I work best with ages 13 to adult who are wanting to address concerns related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem/ identity, and those in the LGBTQ+ community. Each session is a place to address both successes and struggles, get feedback, and learn new skills to put into action. You control the direction of therapy and using skills between sessions to improve your own outcome.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here and considering taking steps towards healing and becoming the best version of yourself. Even though this new chapter of life may feel scary and overwhelming, it's important that you remember you are not alone. You're also not your depression, anxiety, or any other label that may be thrown at you. You are a unique person with needs, wants, and values. For families I work with, communication is KEY! I'm a firm believer in the saying "clear is kind" and aim to help families voice their needs in a compassionate way in order to problem solve together.

You feel you need a safe place to explore current and past struggles to reunite the spark in yourself and/or together. Lets replace the ineffective strategies with new ways of seeing yourself and other important people in your life.

I do not focus on any one specific population to serve. I believe that everyone needs someone to talk to and process what they are experiencing in their lives. In general I realize that most people I serve are working on rebuilding, repairing, and relearning how to manage connections to others.
