I know that reaching out for help can be one of the hardest things any of us do. That’s why I aim to make your experience with help-seeking and mental health as approachable and, dare I say, as fun as possible. I believe that counseling and therapy should be an experience that challenges us in different ways and pushes us to grow through our problems. That’s why, in addition to traditional one-on-one therapy, I offer new and different approaches such as animal-assisted therapy and cognitive-based adventure therapy. There are so many avenues we can take to change ourselves and I hope that what I offer can make that accessible.
Once the work together begins, our goal will be to change the unhelpful ways in which we see the world by seeing what is in front of us and uniting that reality with emotional intuition. This can be very helpful when dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma-related issues.
