You might be in a place where everything feels uncertain—graduating, starting over, or healing from something no one else can quite see. Maybe you're carrying grief, burnout, or the pressure to keep it all together while quietly questioning who you are and what comes next. If you're feeling overwhelmed by change or stuck between versions of yourself, you're not alone.

I believe that healing is not a solitary act; it is deeply influenced by the world around us. As a WICS (Webster Institute for Clinical Scholarship) alum, I specialize in the Ecological Model of Counseling, looking at the "whole system" of your life, from your relationships and social environment to your sleep, nutrition, and nervous system health.

It is difficult for someone with narcissistic traits to seek help. The inner battle that is experienced is strong, causing conflict between their thoughts. One thought is an awareness that there is a problem and an opposing thought of denial or deflection. The internal conflict results in mental abuse towards those closest to the individual. It is important if you are experiencing narcissistic abuse to seek help. If you have been diagnosed or have been told that you have narcissism, it is important for you to seek help, for yourself, and those you love.

Hello, my name is Beth and I celebrate your courage and wisdom in searching for this site! I celebrate the individual's strengths in a nonjudgmental collaboration. The mind-body-heart connection, awareness, and trust are the foundation of therapy. The goal is always for your voice to be heard and from that voice to move forward towards your heart's calling. It isn't just "mental health" it's about health- body, mind, and heart. When those three are working together- that is your voice. Well done for hearing your voice and courageously searching this site.

Life is hard. Many of us struggle with issues related to anxiety, depression, and addiction making life feel even harder. Overthinking and endless negative thoughts can be exhausting, and feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt often hold us back. But here's the good news: those thoughts and feelings don't have to be permanent. You have the ability to develop emotional resilience and self-empowerment, enabling you to thrive. You are worthy of living an enjoyable life with intention as your genuine self.

When you’re neurodivergent, queer, or disabled, it can feel like you’re constantly trying to meet unreachable standards. Shame, doubt, and overwhelm can make you feel like you’re falling short no matter how hard you try. You’re not failing, though. The problem is the world’s one-size-fits-none expectations, (plus the fact that our country is currently a dumpsterfire). But together we can create new expectations and redefine what success means for you. We’ll embrace every part of you, especially the parts you’ve been told don’t belong.

Many of us carry around an old burden or ache that's been there so long that we may wonder if we'll ever be without it. We use any number of different ways to escape or cope — numbing, scrolling, ruminating, perfectionism, distraction, tuning out our feelings. I'm human; I've done all of these things, too. I know how difficult it can be to see the possibilities of feeling better when you are stuck in survival mode and old patterns. But if you're ready to let go of these burdens, and learn to feel everything that you are beyond the distraction, disconnection and pain, then I'm ready to do it with you.

Thankfully, I consider myself blessed to have never “worked” a day in my life. I started over 25 years ago providing clinical social work to abused and neglected children and adolescents. Over the years, I have worked with multiple populations in rural and urban settings with low and high incomes. I diagnose and provide therapy to all age ranges, children to seniors. The diversity of the populations I work with include children, adolescents, adults, couples, LGBTQIA, veterans, and families.
