I am client-focused when working with individuals and families, providing space for them to openly discuss the impact family building has had on their mental health. I encourage clients to actively participate in their treatment and collaboratively work with each client to identify their therapeutic goals. I use a mixture of modalities, from cognitive-behavioral techniques to holistic and integrative approaches. I always strive to bring culture and identity into the therapy space as I believe one’s lived experiences are often shaped by their personal identities.

Searching for a therapist can be overwhelming, even more so when you are going through life challenges and have limited energy to spare. Therapy can provide a space for healing, clarity, and growth, and the relationship between therapist and client has been found to be the most important ingredient in that process. I approach my work with flexibility, compassion, and a deep respect for self-determination. I firmly believe you are the expert in your experience.

My passion is to help you feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the possibility of change. You'd be surprised by how much better you may feel after just a few sessions, either in-person or tele-health. I specialize in working with clients who are struggling with a number of things at the same time (such as life transitions, anxiety, trauma). My ideal client is someone who is interested in going below surface issues, and- potentially- including some "body-up" work in their therapy.

You're stuck in relationships that leave you feeling unappreciated and drained. You had a chaotic childhood or emotionally immature parents. You're seeking more awareness surrounding your thoughts and emotions. You keep hearing about "boundaries" but either aren't sure what they are or are too afraid to set them. You want to become a parent but worry that you'll mess up your kids. Parenting has revealed so much about your own childhood that you feel stuck. You find yourself saying the same things to your kids that your parents said to you. You're ready to make a change and then you see my page.

Anxiety, again, don’t you ever take a break? Of course you don’t. Before work, at work, after work. Intense anxiety is hard. I get it, I’ve been there. It’s difficult to feel like you’re constantly pushing through each day, just trying to survive. Making matters worse, there’s no energy left to actually find a better way to live. If you're honest, sometimes It’s hard to believe that a path out of survival mode exists at all. Facing a challenge like anxiety alone is overwhelming.

I work with clients who feel burned out - whether at work, in school, or any other area of life - but who have responsibilities they can't just walk away from. I understand the challenges that come with trying to thrive under alienating, capitalistic conditions.

You’re a college student or young professional struggling with adulting & the transition to the “real world”. I get it, I’ve been there! No one really prepares you for the stress and confusion adulthood brings. How do you convince your friends, family, teachers, or boss that you know what you're doing? More importantly, how do you convince yourself? You are overthinking, insecure, and would rather doom scroll than face reality. I’m here to guide you with the tools needed to feel confident, successful, & independent while treating your mind, body, & soul- not just your symptoms. I believe in whole-person care for optimal performance.

It’s difficult to predict how you’ll feel from one moment to the next. A second ago, you were keyed up; every muscle in your body tense and on high alert, ready for danger to strike. Now, you’re completely checked out, numb to the world, sleepwalking through the day. You know this isn’t a sustainable way to live, but you’re not sure how else to cope with the painful wounds of your past. It’s as though you can no longer trust yourself to differentiate between safe and threatening situations, so you avoid everything. You’re struggling at work and growing more distant from your loved ones each day. Something needs to change, and soon.
