The focus and passion of our practice is multicultural counseling using a social justice lense. We work with people who are dealing with issues around sexual orientation, race, gender identity and neurodiversity. We support you in processing how being you in our society affects how you feel about yourself and ultimately your mental health. We want our clients to learn to appreciate the unique gifts that they bring as they process past experiences and achieve their goals.
Making you feel safe and accepted is our main priority. In addition, we will be helping you learn to have tools that will help you manage difficult emotions, relationships, as well as past and current difficulties. All of our therapists use a social justice lense, understanding the impact of how racism, homophobia and transphobia affect mental health.
We will provide an initial phone call with a member of our intake team to determine which therapist is the best fit for you. We ultimately want you to work with someone you feel comfortable with. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions or want to discuss which therapist is the best fit for you.
