Dr. Bedi is the clinical director and co-owner of New Insights Behavioral Health Services. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of specialized training in providing therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. She has worked in community mental health centers and hospital settings, in both clinical and supervisory positions. Dr. Bedi has also held adjunct faculty positions at Alder University, and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and has published several papers regarding the impact of childhood trauma in adulthood.
She has experience in treating individuals with histories of trauma, as well as those suffering with anxiety, low self-esteem, work stress, ADHD, depression, and grief & loss. Dr. Bedi has expertise in health psychology, & works with clients diagnosed with medical conditions regarding their adjustment to diagnosis, treatment adherence, and needle phobias.
Dr. Bedi strongly believes in utilizing evidence-based therapies & relational techniques in her treatment approach. She has experience in providing cognitive behavioral therapy, child-parent psychotherapy, ARC, TF-CBT, cognitive processing therapy.
