I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults, young adults and adolescents. My goal is to create a safe therapeutic environment where clients feel accepted, heard and understood. I help my clients find their own strength and insight, which leads to healing, growth and self-acceptance. I work with clients from a relational, strength-based, client centered perspective, incorporating mindfulness practices. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and groups.
My areas of interest and expertise include working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and/or loss, LGBT clients and young adults. I also specialize in working with clients who are parenting and/or preparing for parenting, as well as clients who are experiencing challenges related to postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy and childbirth.
